In the Spring of 2011, two successful and talented British designers, Jamie Winder and Iain Hector, embarked on a journey to South East Asia. They wanted to explore the emerging design scene at a time when the region is undergoing rapid development and growth. The trip encompassed meetings with designers and creative types; a total of 14 interviews were carried out in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Singapore and, last but not least, Bangkok. Asia Media Studios was one of three from Thailand’s capital, all chosen through a “Google” search, where the agency features strongly and favorably.
Derma Scent is a dynamic Thai-based organization that produces and distributes innovative Skin Care Products. Until recently, its product range was aimed at professional users – principally spas and salons, and it has earned a burgeoning reputation for innovative skin care products that are designed to maximize therapeutic effects. The company is now planning to widen its customer base through expansion into the retail sector – primarily pharmaceutical, rather than mainstream grocery outlets.
Originally an Australian organization, Custom Private Label Groceries now owns a thriving food development and manufacturing operation in Thailand. It produces an extensive range of Sauces, Marinades, Ready Meals, Pasta Sauces, Pastes and Soups that it markets under an in-house generic brand but also offers R&D services and manufacturing facilities for own label production. The diversity and availability of quality ingredients in Thailand together with the country’s comparatively low labor costs mean that the company can deliver high quality foods at very competitive prices.
Thailand-based company The Fruit Republic has recently launched its range of six premium natural fruit juices on to the Thai market. Aimed predominantly at the high-end hospitality market, the company wanted a website that would reflect its market position and appeal to its target audience.
Asia Media Studio was asked to develop this website and we worked on a simple clean and fresh design that encompasses a shield as its central theme, in which the individual fruits feature.
Although based in Bangkok, Asia Media Studio is earning an excellent reputation outside Thailand and has a growing portfolio of international clients; one such is Silver by Mail.
This U.K. Company successfully markets an extensive range of silver jewelry direct to the consumer through its website and a seasonal catalogue. We were asked by Silver by Mail to update both the company logo and the catalogue template.

Through its agency AUSAID, the Australian Government has worked hard and effectively for many years to improve the lives of millions of people in developing countries, and in particular countries in the Asia Pacific Region.
Its newest initiative is The Australia-Asia Program to Combat Trafficking in Persons (AAPTIP) that will provide support to the ASEAN community and individual partner countries – Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand – in countering cross-border people trafficking.
